Young women launch sexual health leaflet

Not using contraception? offers no-nonsense, factual information about contraception and sexually acquired infections. The young women included a section about the cost of childcare based on the experiences of the mums in the group.

To publicise the leaflet to local young women and professionals, the group organised a launch evening which featured presentations and discussions. They talked about their own experiences of sexual health services in the area and how they hope their leaflet will help more young people aware of how important it is to be aware of the facts.

Kelly Davidson, YWCA Plymouth’s project worker, said: "The young women worked hard on both producing the leaflet and promoting it and both have been a great success."
